Frequently asked questions

What does "vetted" mean?

Every babysitter is verified to meet our foundation before they appear on the platform. That means a background and driving record check, a video interview, current hands-on CPR training, and references personally verified by phone. No self-listed profiles. No exceptions.

How does the booking system work?

You receive a set number of confirmed bookings each month based on your membership. A credit is only used when a babysitter confirms. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. If you cancel within 48 hours of a confirmed booking, that credit is forfeited. If a babysitter cancels, your credit is restored in full.

What if I need more bookings than my plan includes?

You can book beyond your monthly allotment. Each additional booking is $55. If you find yourself regularly needing more, moving up a tier is almost always the better value.

Can I hire a babysitter from this platform as a nanny?

No - Babysitters on our platform are available for on-call and occasional care only. Consistent scheduled care more than twice a week is a nanny relationship and requires a formal employment arrangement. We can connect you with The Nanny Tribe to find the right fit.

Why is there a 3-month minimum commitment?

Vetting is ongoing, not a one-time check. Background checks, hands-on CPR training, and every babysitter's standing are actively maintained, so their verification is current at the time of every booking. The 3-month minimum is how that standard stays intact for your family.

What is concierge booking?

Concierge is a member-only add-on. For an $85 flat fee, you submit a request through your dashboard and our team handles the search, then returns one to three matched options. Requests need at least 72 hours notice and do not use your booking credits.

Do I have to keep my membership active to book?

Yes. This is a membership platform, not a one-time booking service. Access to the vetted roster, real-time availability, and concierge booking requires an active membership. Families who only need occasional care choose the Blue Moon annual tier, which keeps access open year-round at the lowest commitment.
