Background Check Data: Babysitter screening information is reviewed within the agency and may be shared with families upon request when hiring a babysitter.

6. Publicly Shared Information

Babysitter Profiles: Babysitter profiles (excluding private contact information) may be visible to all registered families browsing the platform. Babysitter profiles may also be used in social media promotions, but no private information (such as names, phone numbers, or addresses) will be made public.

Family Profiles: Families’ profiles are only visible to babysitters they book. Family profiles are not publicly accessible outside the platform and are not shared on social media.

Privacy Clause & NDA: All members of The Babysitting Tribe agree to a privacy clause and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that prohibits unauthorized sharing of personal information outside the platform.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Families: Accounts are deleted only after a membership is canceled and may be removed up to a year later. After that, users must complete a new intake to rejoin.

Babysitters: Accounts are deleted after 1 year of inactivity, but babysitters can return within that year or request to keep their account active.

Payment records may be retained for legal and security reasons.

Users can adjust data on their profile at any time or submit a request for updates. Families are responsible for keeping their family bio up to date.

9. Membership Refund & Chargeback Policy

No refunds for babysitting services.

Memberships can be canceled within 7 days after signing up for a full refund.

Chargebacks will result in account suspension and cancellation of all scheduled babysitters. Families must pay outstanding cancellation fees before rejoining.

10. Security Measures
We protect user data through SSL encryption, access controls, and secure third-party payment processing.

11. Business Transactions
If The Babysitting Tribe undergoes a business sale, merger, acquisition, or restructuring, user data will be transferred as part of the business assets. Users will be notified in advance of such transactions.
