The Blue Moon babysitting membership is built for Bay Area families who need trusted, vetted care a handful of times a year. You pay an annual membership fee and a flat $55 each time you book. No monthly credits, no recurring commitment beyond your annual fee.
Every babysitter on our platform is background checked, CPR certified, interviewed, and reference verified before joining. You are never matched with a stranger. You are matched with a vetted professional who has been approved by our team.
Blue Moon is the right fit if your family needs occasional care for date nights, school events, weekend plans, or those times that come up without much warning. You get the same access to our full babysitter network as every other member, without paying for bookings you do not need every month.
Membership renews annually. Each confirmed booking is charged at a flat $55 fee. Sessions run from 3 to 8 hours with a 3-hour minimum. If you cancel within 48 hours of a confirmed booking your fee is forfeited. If the babysitter cancels your fee is fully restored. Concierge booking is available to all active members for an $85 flat fee per request.
