Essential Membership

Description

The Essential babysitting membership is built for Bay Area families who need reliable care several times a month without committing to a full calendar of bookings. Four confirmed bookings a month gives you consistent access to fully vetted babysitters without overcommitting.

Every babysitter on our platform is background checked, CPR certified, interviewed, and reference verified before joining. You are never matched with a stranger. You are matched with a vetted professional who has been approved by our team.

Essential is the right fit if your family needs care for date nights, after school coverage, work commitments, or weekend plans on a regular but not daily basis. Your booking window opens 14 days in advance giving you enough lead time to plan without locking you into a rigid schedule.

Each confirmed booking covers sessions from 3 to 6 hours. Extended hours beyond 6 are charged at $20 per hour. If you need more than 4 bookings in a month each additional booking is charged at a $55 overage fee. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. A credit is only deducted when a babysitter confirms your request. If you cancel within 48 hours of a confirmed booking that credit is forfeited. If the babysitter cancels your credit is fully restored. Concierge booking is available to all active members for an $85 flat fee per request.
